The French and Indian War

     One day when Marcus got home from being out in the Fields, he said that there had been a fight between the French and Indians. We later heard more and more stories and details. The battle of Quebec was an amazing battle scene the British snuck up on the French because of one unguarded trail. The British won that on the Plains Of Abraham. The Treaty of Paris was to force France to give Canada and most of its land east of the Mississippi to Great Britain. They also received Florida. Spain acquired french lands west of the Mississippi as well as port of New Orleans. The Pontiac War was that Chief of Ottawa Village didn't want the Albany Plan he wanted to Native American groups to come together and fight against the British. I think the Proclamation of 1763 was needed, it prevented allot of fighting, but my husband and many other would disagree with me. They are angered with it, because they owned shared land companies of the Appalachian Mountains.

Conflicts Arise

     There is a fight between us and the french. We are fighting over the Ohio River Valley. The french think it's their own land but we don't want to share their profitable fur trade. This effects us on our land because the french attak Pickawillany which is only about fifty miles from were we live. George Washington is a great guy and is on our side in this. He sent a message to French, but of course they refused. I do not like the Albany Plan of Union. Why would any want to put together all the colonies and have only one ruler? I could see another war happening if that happened because all the leaders of the colonies would want to be the leader of everyone. So maybe there will be a war soon. Who knows?

My Culture

     The Great Awaking inspired me to go to church on Sunday's all of my family goes with. The Englightment made me think alot about our Science, my husband Marcus likes to study nature and finds alot of things in the feilds, nature wise. Our king appoints our governor and council. We're in the royal colonies. The Glorious Revolution is when parliment took action and forced James out and put his Daughter inplace. Navigation Acts is a trade between England and the colonies. We normally buy surgar from them.

All About Me

      Hey, my name is Madalyn Kautorio. I live in New Jersey which is the Middle Colonies. I'm 29 years old.  I make a living by sometimes helping Marcus my husband in the fields otherwise I'm doing house work around the house with Bell.In the morning  I get up and see what Bell has made for Breakfast. Bell is our maid. Then I get dress and have Bell get the boys dressed while I drink a cup of coffee. My husband Marcus is normally reading the newspaper. When the boys come down we eat breakfast then I drive them to school then come back home to Marcus and go to the feild. My boys names are Rodger and Justin. Rodger is 8 and Justin is 6. Marcus and I have been married for 9 years. When school is over we come home and I help the boys with homework then we eat supper. After supper we normally watch the news.
